Nankin Hardware and Hobby is opening a 6,800-square-foot store in Ypsilanti in time for the holidays. This is the third location for the family-owned hobby supplies business. Its Westland store open in the ’60s, and the Farmington Hills store has been operating for seven years. The stores specialize in models – trains, cars, boats, aircraft and military.

The new store will open with a staff of four or five employees and offer a variety of remote control gadgets and model-building and craft supplies.
