40 jobs coming to Sault Ste. Marie

AMI Hose, a new manufacturing company, will invest approximately $2.2 million and bring 40 new permanent jobs to Sault Ste. Marie. The company creates braided hoses used in the automotive industry, and will launch its operations in the former Soo Plastics building.

The Sault EDC and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation provided incentives for the company, whose annual payroll of more than $1.6 million will also provide for the creation of 12 indirect jobs.
