Industrial Services Group creates 50 jobs in Vergennes

Composites manufacturer Industrial Services Group is investing $1.63 million to expand its Compositech manufacturing operations in Vergennes Township. The company will invest in equipment upgrades and building renovations. The project will create 50 jobs including management, technical, skilled and entry-level positions.

The Right Place, a regional economic development nonprofit, and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation announced approval of a Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant that will enable the manufacturer of engineered composite solutions to upfit its plant and add jobs.

Its website says the company provides high performance lining and coating solutions serving the power generation, pulp and paper, and petro chemical/chemical industries throughout the central and eastern United States. With decades of experience, it continues to set new standards for innovation, safety and quality, delivering optimized total life cycle cost solutions to plant owners.
