LiveWorkDetroit! networking event Feb. 7

LiveWorkDetroit! is a joint initiative of Michigan Economic Development Corporation and D:hive. Each academic year through a series of events, hundreds of college students and recent graduates are brought to Detroit to experience a full day of activities including an opportunity to network with potential employers, take an experiential tour of the city and attend a cultural event.

Participants gain knowledge of the exciting things happening in the city, and can better determine if Detroit is the place for them after graduation.

The event will be held Feb. 7, starting at 2 p.m. at The Westin Book Cadillac. Dinner and panel discussion begin at 6 p.m. Go here for complete details. Attendees register here, and employer registration is here.

Participants will have the chance to network with representatives from Quicken Loans, Detroit Venture Partners, Tech Town Detroit, Lowe Campbell Ewald, among other employers.

The city is home to some of the nation’s best high-tech startups, cutting-edge medical researchers, fashion trendsetters, unrivaled restaurants, world-renown museums and affordable places to live. More than 3,000 students and graduates have participated in the previous 17 events, and about 200 are expected to attend this event.
