Eagle Technologies building plant, creating 100 jobs in St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. — Eagle Technologies Group has announced plans to open a new facility in St. Joseph Charter Township. The Bridgman-based company will invest approximately $6 million and expects to create 100 jobs with the expansion.

Eagle is a manufacturer of automated assembly, testing and material handling systems. It will build a new 150,000-square-foot plant to help it serve clients in various sectors including automotive, electronics and alternative energy.

The Michigan Economic Development Corporation supported the project with a performance-based grant. According to its website, Eagle Technologies Group is an agile and innovative automation systems provider. It has supplied it’s customers with equipment and services that embody quality and long term commitment. Its expertise in assembly, test, vision, robotics and material handling systems, along with dedication to continuous improvement processes, allow Eagle to provide the best automation solutions.
