Stoneridge envisions new HQ, jobs in Detroit area
NOVI, Mich. — Stoneridge, a vehicle vision system company, plans to bring its corporate headquarters to Novi, and expand its presence in the Detroit metropolitan area.
Supported by Michigan Business Development Program grant, workforce training funding and support from Oakland County, and additional Novi economic development tax incentives, the company will invest $5.2 million to establish its new corporate headquarters and complete the relocation by the third quarter of this year.
The City of Novi and Oakland County stand to gain as many as 70 jobs. The company also said the move to the new headquarters would provide flexibility to create up to 70 more jobs to support the company’s future growth needs.
